    Claudio Giachetti is Associate Professor of Strategy at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, where he received his Ph.D. in Business Economics. 

    He has held visiting positions at the University of Zaragoza and Cass Business School in London, and received a master degree in International Management from University of Modena e Reggio Emilia.

    Before joining academia, Claudio worked as consultant on issues of corporate strategy and competitive analysis with a variety of clients from the private sector.

    His research interests include corporate strategy, competitive analysis, competitive dynamics, and product innovation.

    He is author of the book “Competitive dynamics in the mobile phone industry” (Palgrave McMillan), and his research work has been published in various journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Operations Management, Strategic Organization, Research Policy, Long Range Planning, R&D Management, Technovation, and Business History.

    Anna Minà is Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Enna Kore, Italy, where she teaches strategic management and entrepreneurship.

    She has been post-doctoral research fellow in Management and Lecturer of Strategies for business growth at the University of Rome La Sapienza and has held visiting positions at New York University’s Stern School of Business and Indian School of Business in Hyderabad. She received her PhD in Business Economics and Management from the University of Catania.

    Her research work has been published in various international outlets, including Academy of Management Perspectives, International Journal of Technology Management, and Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing.

    She has received  the Best Paper on The History of Corporate Social Responsibility from the Academy of Management  Social Issue in Management Division and the Best Paper Award Runner-up on “Coopetition and Value Networks” from the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management. 

    Her research interests look at: (a) competitive and cooperative interactions among firms, with a specific emphasis on in interfirm network coopetition; and (b) antecedents and consequences of corporate social irresponsibility.

    Pasquale Massimo Picone is Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Bergamo.

    He has been post-doctoral research fellow and Lecturer of Financial Management at the University of Catania, where he received his PhD in Business Economics & Management. He has held visiting positions at Texas A&M University and IE Business School in Madrid.

    His research work has been published in various outlets, including Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Management & Governance, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Academy of Management Proceedings, and Business Horizons.

    He received two major awards: the History of Corporate Social Responsibility Award for the Best Paper from the Social Issues in Management Division of the Academy of Management, and the Best Paper in International Corporate Governance Award from the International Management Division of the same Academy of Management.

    Massimo’s research interests revolve around the interplay of corporate strategy, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. He looks in particular at two issues: (a) managing the diversified corporate portfolio, with a specific emphasis on conglomerate diversification; (b) the emergence of managerial hubris and how and to what extent a CEOs’ psychological make-up may alter their strategic choices, behaviors, and performances. He uses bibliometric analysis in exploring the latent structure of a stream of literature and in mapping the main conceptual and empirical advances.
